  • I thought it was a great touch that they placed Return of the King as Aragorn walked by.

  • As you see the dates for the 3 movies, it's like saying "some serious shit is about to happen"

  • The advert that played beforehand was for Phantom Menace...it just creates such a stark contrast between good and bad films

  • ¨AOL keyword¨ LOL Hello Google!

  • I remember seeing the release dates of each movie and thinking: oh my, this is gonna be a looooong wait.

Now there's a full decade between that tought and me seeing again this trailer on Youtube... Damn!

  • WHATS THE NAME OF THE ENDING SONG? THE ONE THAT SOUNDS WHILE CHARACTER ARE WALKING WITH THE RELEASE DATES!??? THAT STARTS AT 0:58

  • In the early 2000s, my uncle worked at a video store and gited me a copy of Ralph Bakshi's LOTR. I was so displeased with it that PJ's version didn't interest me. I was only 6 at the time. I found a vhs copy of the Two Towers in 2003 and immediately bought the FOTR as well as the ROTK. 8 years later, I am a senior in high school, I have read The Hobbit 3 times and the Silmarillion once. I am about to begin reading the FOTR. Also, my vhs copy of TTT just broke and I am upset.

  • and in my uncultured 11 year old mind:

    "This looks so gay"

    Oh lord was I wrong...

  • I can't believe this came out at a time when people still used AOL keywords. Man, I'm getting old.

  • @Erador

not likely, since they barely began shooting in 1999.this teaser dates from late 2000 or 2001
