Your Opinion Doesn't Matter

This video begins with the words "Three years ago", but that should be updated to "Five years ago", because I have just re-posted this two year old video from my old YouTube account page. That is the only thing that has changed; otherwise, this video is just as applicable as it was in 2006. If you were born in an aggressive/dominant culture, there are many other cultures in the world where a person can find higher amounts of happiness, honesty and peace.

I respect your opinion, however I would rather confront the problems that are in my birthplace and if needs be fight and die for change. From my perspective, your way is the way of the coward. You would toss asside all of your ancestry, and history to avoid harm to your self or your feelings. If you can sleep at night, then thats on you. As for me, I know I never could.

Funny, but I don't FEEL cowardice; I guess this means the people who left Europe for a better life in the ''New World'' were cowards. My ''ancestry''? My ancestry pre-dates the country I left by thousands of years. ''History''? The history of my old culture is PRECISELY why I left; 500 years of history shows it to be angry and bloodthirsty; there is no hope for change, and ''fight for change'' is a part of the source problem. Authority vs Fighting, whereas I choose philosophy (and peace).

Your last point is true if you were born in a rich "Western" country, 'cause then, as a "first class World citizen", any country will take you. Now, if you're born in Mali, Uganda, Haiti, Sri Lanka or even Mexico... well, then it's a whole different story, right?
