This was my pet Budgie Peekachoo, I had him for 11yrs and if he's cage was unlocked when i was having a Dram o Whisky, He would Fight me for the whisky and always get Drunk!!
The Press in Scotland Put an article in ther Newspapers about him a few years back lol!!

haha my budgies love alcohol too! our oldest one lived to 15 years and had a sip of whisky every day. have 2 at the moment (aged 9 and 10) and they love any alcohol - wine, beer, whisky, vodka & coke etc. if i leave my glass unattended and leave the room i'll come back in and they'll be in it drinking and having a bath and won't get off without pecking holes into my hand!!

Oh goodness!! My cockatoo steals my coffee, but I have never had whiskey myself, so I do not know what he'd do!

Ha Ha lol!! Aye ma Budgie Luved he's Whisky, but ov coarse i had to lock him in his cage everytime i had a wee Dram or he would beet me to it lol!!
I wouldnt care but he liked the Malts best lol!! Expensive Taste he had!

Aye", am afraid so, he liked he's Whisky.
My local vet said he was a very healthy Budgie and lived prety long as far as budgies go, but am no expert.
