@fuzzichicken UHHH well your parents may own a culvers but you obvs don't work there. its soo much easier to find people and keep track of them.

@taylord1 Well not in every town, Culvers has strict requirements for where you can build a location.
"We will consider granting a Culver's franchise in trade areas that have a minimum of 25,000 people and 15,000 employees within a 3-mile radius of a proposed site."-direct quote from the Culvers franchise requirements on the Culvers website. Wisconsin simply isn't densely populated enough for every town to have 2.

no actually it never was. when we first opened, we did it without the numbers. It was so confusing because we had so many people packed into a tiny place, and sometimes they would sit down, so we would lose track of them. This way, they would have a number, and they could stand at the edge of the counter or sit down and we would find them so much more easily.
