@TheBassplayinggoalie He does keep it pumping away in the background - he's the kind of bass player who you only notice when he stops playing. (That's a good thing btw). That quote I think was originally by Garry Tallent talking about his playing with Bruce Springsteen - he's another great example of this kind of solid, supportive player who you only notice when he stops.
