Life's a Beach

Two old friends share time at the beach at Half Moon Bay, CA. Mom and I decided on the spur of the moment to head over the hill to the beaches of Half Moon Bay. As we got our things together, Mom's friend Dorothy knocked on the door. We invited her to come along, and she did! Next time, they'll get closer to the surf.
Technically, shot video and stills with Lumix still camera (you can see the difference between sharpness of stills and the low res video it shoots). Made with iMovie 6 on MacG4, and exported-compressed with the Save to CD option, which resulted in a .mov file. Uploaded the .mov to YouTube. Seems to have good quality, best yet of all I've tried. So many opinions about best way to save/upload to YouTube.

Glad you got through this and found out. It's such a gift to get someone back. Doctors are not much on fooling with meds once they Rx them. You did see the video of mine where Mom came out of dementia state by stopping Ditropan? Send me message privately, with real email address, and I'll send you hilarious christmas card image of Mom. she's a good sport.

Hi Carol, Thank you for sending such an nice video. It brought a tear to my eye. It is kind of sad that we don't notice some things, like the seaguls laughing, until we are gone. I hope to someday return to Half Moon Bay.

Hi friend, so we found out what was up with my mom...DAMN doctor prescriptions, the wrong mix and to much of the wrong thing. There is another video on youtube about someone's grandfather who was doing fine until the doctors gave him a certain prescription and then we went "mental" but upon her removing the drugs, like all of them, him and my mother did more than return, she was REBORN and RENEWED...thank you for your support and information! I love you and your Mom!

Hi Carol- Thanks for showing me this video. It reminded me of this one I made to show my brothers and sisters my Dad's favorite spot here in BC. He lives in Calgary now, so he enjoyed seeing the video too, and confirming that I'd correctly followed the map he sent to me (complete with bus directions).
