What is it with you canucks? Is the oxygen thin up there or something? You consider waterboarding torture? Where was your outcry when Daniel Pearl was beheaded by terrorists. Waterboarding doesn't even come close to real torture, like peeling your fingernails back, or hanging you by your wrists and cutting your belly open so you can watch the rats eat your intestines. Or even worse, being forced to endure a Shania Twain song. The horror. The horror...

The oxygen is clean which allows us to think clearly. We are not encumbered by toothless southern hillbillies constant screaming that the gov't is going to take away their guns and raise taxes.

This isn't the GOP looking to dig something up. It is these guys that don't want to move on. In their lust to try to get any member of the previous admistration to have to show up under oath, they have unwittingly snared a Dem in their trawling net. Good Job.

You better check again because Iran Contra was run by Oliver North on the NATIONAL SECURITY COUNCIL, not the CIA. Yes there were story about some in the CIA running drugs to pay for it, but none over these was ever proved. The only thing out there are some loon left wing conspiracies books, and I bet they are right up your ally. No one in the CIA was very convicted of anything, but we know in the loon left wing world the right is always guilty despite the complete lack of proof.

And why would the CIA lie about their interrogation methods when those methods were all approved by Congress including Pelosi? The CIA was just reporting what they were doing. But Pelosi could only get her butt to 1 of 40 meetings and it was her committee over seeing it and before that she was the minority whip of that committee.

I know Bob Graham is as incompetent as Pelosi as he says he does not remember anything and has nothing in his notes. LOL. Shame everyone else at the meeting does.

Rep. Silvestre Reyes, Democrat-Texas, chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, said that CIA officials were not seeking her approval when they notified her about the interrogation techniques because they had already begun using them.

And even DEM CIA chief Panetta said records from September 2002 indicate that CIA officers briefed truthfully on the interrogation of Abu Zubaydah, describing 'the enhanced techniques that had been employed.'
