I said they were ONE of the sources of inspirations for Monty Python. The 'Nudge Nudge' sketch was written for Ronnie Barker by Eric Idle for Frost on Sunday, however, was rejected as not only it was confusing but also required a good delivery of the joke.

@bernardcz92 Hm I dunno that was the case, Cleese and both Ronnies did indeed work together on the Frost Report but Python was more inspired by The Goons and wanting to smash through the boring conventions of 60s sketch shows.

Actually, Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbet were one of the inspirations for Monty Python. John Cleese had written some sketches in the Frost Report.

I say four memebers of the royal family watched this video.

The milkman delivered more'n milk on four occasions thus far. Hence the dislike, eh?

I miss the days when people didn't have to swear every two seconds to be funny.

lol classic concept, a milkman giving the queens speech. Pythonesque
-
Both himself and Ronnie Corbett got the O.B.E.

This can't be dated 2007. Ronnie Barker died in 2005 so it has to be older than that and Ronnie looks a lot younger here than he was when he died. This can't be newer than the 90's at the latest.

And it's good night from him...
You can't beat him, he is a professional and he writes a lot of his own sketches, a true comedian with no profanity. He needs no shock factor, he uses his wit and talent.
RIP Ronnie Barker.
