The sharingan was made to seem the strongest because of its amazing uchiha users. But if you actually think about it they both can do the same thing: see through things. However the sharingan has a lot more power to it and its abilty stretches further. Even so I will always prefer the byakugan because its underated which makes it more mysterious and interesting. The sharingan is stampted all over the naruto world.

Sorry Uchiha lovers but Byakugan is stronger. In the anime when they first showed Byakugan, Kakashi stated it was more powerful than the Sharingan, that the Sharingan was possible born FROM the Byakugan.

byakugan is stronger then sharingan but mangekjou own every possible jutsu in anime.Thought ilusions almost impossible to work on Byakugan against some other type of ninja Mangekyou owns if user is strong enough to use it...but has high price to pay for it.
