I knew I saw a tv production of The Wind in the Willows in the '70's with this tune but haven't been able to find any infor on it anywhere. Thanks for posting, I know now I wasn't imagining it!!
@Cool2BCeltic Its funny you should say that it is most well known for being the theme to the BBC adaptation of The Secret Garden 1975 it even says that on the CD I have of it :)
