More film of the back gardens. Another great tune by Mr Binge from the era of classic British Light Music.

  • Nice--shame it was cut.

  • @myrtleford70 This wonderful, nice, gentle piece of music to The Wind In The Willows contrasted with the brash Anglia TV opening which is well remembered, namely the bombastic music and the silver equestrian figure of the knight.

I knew I saw a tv production of The Wind in the Willows in the '70's with this tune but haven't been able to find any infor on it anywhere. Thanks for posting, I know now I wasn't imagining it!!

  • Wonderful piece of music - you need to turn it up so you can hear the strings properly though.

  • @Cool2BCeltic Its funny you should say that it is most well known for being the theme to the BBC adaptation of The Secret Garden 1975 it even says that on the CD I have of it :)

  • I always associate this wonderful piece of music with an Anglia TV adaptation of The Wind in the Willows from 1970.

  • I have heard this many time on TV. Now I know who wrote it aqnd the title. Now I want to know who performed it here. Very nice. thanks :)

  • I wish I had a garden like that ,my garden is only very small
