The Ultimate Street Car Challenge

The Ultimate Street Car Challenge pits the best sport compact cars against each other in tests of horsepower, speed, engineering, drivability, and ride comfort. Sport Compact Car Magazine made use of K&N Engineerings in house dynamometers to complete the challenge. Among this years participants were the industry favorite, 2009 Nissan Skyline GTR R35 and 2008 Mitsubishi EVO X.

You do know, the person who you are replying to works at the shop for that car right? Other cars showed up on trailers and were never driven other than track or dyno events. They brought spare seats for the "Girlfriend Test" and extra maps to get better mileage on the fuel economy test. That's NOT a street car.

uhhh, friends got a 9.6 sec evo 9 rs...daily driven. sure it gets 12-15 mpg but it's still daily drivable. plus cars are tuned for race gas on high boost and can be detuned for pump gas and less boost. still a race car. a stock evo or sti rollin off the lot imo is still a race car.

Dude...no. It was the ONLY real street car. What are you talking about? A little backwards. If I put a couch as the front seats for the girlfriend test I'm sure my car would win too. The subaru didn't swap out the racing seats for stockers to make the car more comfortable. That just seems like cheating now doesn't it?

They even said it in the article and what they were saying about it, compared to the OTHERS it was more race car than street car as it was more uncomfortable, loud, and had more race car parts on it compared to the OTHERS

The car is daily driven. It passes smog. It has a FULL INTERIOR. It runs on pump gas.

How again is it a race car?
