Ainsley Using Her PMV

Ainsley wearing her PMV. This video is pretty indicative of how she does. Often she has a hard time adjusting at first. She'll sometimes do really well and other won't do well at all. At times if you watch the whole thing her "voice" fluctuates. You can hear her cry and there are times that she seems pretty happy and is just breathing pretty normally. Each child is different in their ability to use a PMV (speaking valve) depending on their airway condition. This video was shot because I was trying to get more information about whether this was typical PMV use from other trach parents on the tracheostomy.com support forum. How old was she in this vid?? She was 1 right . With her developing delays , she was pulled back to 8 months . But she will be ok. She is a trooper @sandsutube
