  • what do with the other side of the black/negative wire

  • one side goes to the negative side of your battery charger or battery and the other goes into the neg part of ur amp which should be next to the positive, it'll probably read GND instead of neg

  • is that a legacy amp? if it is do you recommend it? because i might be getting a 600 watt 2 channel amp by legacy called "rebel"

  • yes it is. i think they can power what you need for the low price of them.

  • I'm not criticizing your work at all, but it would have been smarter, I think, to have ran the FULL power wire into the amp and then ran a little 3 inch, smaller (perhaps 16 AWG) wire from the 12v spot over to the AEM (Remote) port. This would ensure that your amp gets enough power.

  • yeah when it doesnt get enough power the leds dim. but if it doesnt cut out then its all good.

  • hiya ive got the same in my room but got 3 15inch inphase subs and 3 1600watt crunch amps =]

    i used to have one of them amp there bright lol!

    my battery charger aint that good tho it drains power to quick!its only 8 amps that probly y but then i brought a power cap now its ok....does your amp loose power (the amp LED's dim)??
