She had two broken ribs, not just bruised. Happened to me 2 years ago and it took about a year to get rid of the pain. definitely could not take deep breaths therefore sing for 3 or 4 months, and I'm younger than Ree. This woman still is a force of nature.

Aretha apparently had two bruised ribs during this concert from her fall. It was after this concert she announced she was going to be taking a month off to recover. None the less, I don't think she showed that many ailing signs in this concert. Her version of the Way we were and this were exceptional. I've yet to watch the others though.

I think she is still a really great musician with a lot of stage presence who cares if she is heavy and age is just a number she puts all the rap and hip hop divas to shame she is the best

Aretha is not at her best here. Seems like she was kinda tired or worn out that night.

Oh yeah, it was a great show! She's still got it, even if she doesn't move as much or as well as she used to.

I believe it's a matter of Aretha isn't as young or in as good of shape as she once was.
