I had hormones prescribed by a doctor I see monthly, don't recall using the word "dysphoria", in fact most of my request was using positive diction, you could say.

@PaperStory Thank you for sharing this. I'm sorry that you've had that experience.
I support your use of the word.

@PaperStory no problem. i have been watching your videos on and off for a kind of long time since i came across a video about being a nerd i don't really know how long ago.

I have definitely felt something I identified as dysphoria. Over time, I've I think I'm moving toward a conclusion that dysphoria is way bigger than just gender dysphoria.
It's a valuable word, but its meaning just might evolve or splinter.

Excellent video :) I use the word dysphoria and honestly accept that I have it. I know I have it and have had it all my life.
I hope you can get access to hormones :)

Hi Aeron, great points!
I'm also glad we can relate with each other around this aspect of our experiences.
Personally I find there is some aversion to the word itself, but I don't mind using it in certain social contexts as a sort of sign post to a shared experience.
If you don't mind my asking, What is your experience of the word?
Thanks for sharing. Watching this helped alleviate some of my own discomforts.
Peace and Strength,
~Andria
