it's faster to calculate 100 x 99 and then subtract 99 instead of drawing it like this :/

@Werwolf2x There are exceptions, but many are far more complex. Like 54x76 or something

How do I do if I have one three digit number and one with two digits?
And how about two, three digit (or more) does it work the same way?
And if I get two, two digit numbers in the two in the middle and a one digit number above thoose, which of the four is the one supposed to be over?

This is just like the lattice method but with less lines to draw

Awesome!! I'm still a bit confused on which numbers go where, though.

That's nice but I can't understand that thing off adding the numbers vertically and that carry over thing. Can anybody explain me this? Thanks

@alphabroly28 thanks, it's not the first time i reinvent an alternative methode of doing math and it's always nice to know theres a name for it :)

This is basically how everybody performs long multiplication.

I find that differen't methodes works bettere for different situations, it may also vary from person to person.
