She called him the one in reference to the right candidate for the presidency. She was defending that lady on stage by saying that the woman has her own way of getting to God and that there actually IS a multitude of ways of getting to whatever different cultures and religions regard as their God

The reason Oprah didn't have Palin on the show is the same reason she didn't have obama on the show during the campaign. She has stated that she didn't want to use her show as a platform for any of the candidates. And yes she did have Obama on 2 times but that was before Obama officially announced he was running for the White House. Also, Oprah considers herself a christian, she just happens to believe that there could be many paths to God. Not all Christians are religious fundamentalists.
