Pensacola Computers Presents: How to install TNT Lite 5.0.0 on your G-Tablet. To install the latest TNT Lite 5, you must first restore your Gtab to factory 3588 with vanilla recovery. To do this we use nvflash to restore to original, apply the 3588 update, then install TNT Lite 5.0 which brings a host of new features to our Android tablet.

  • This might be a stupid question, but how do you make a command file...Im an enthusiast in modding so i know atleast some stuff on hacking...but the command file is something that i just don't know how to do

  • @marinecorpsman5 create a file named command (text file with no extension)

    The text should be: --update_package=SDCARD:/update.zip

  • when I press power button while holding the volume +, my Gtablet goes to recovery mode and kernel recovery...it doesn't let me select anything - please hlep!

  • @rcjpth If you are not getting the new recovery environment, then you have not successfully flashed to 5.0 or one of the 1.2 based ROMS, you need to make sure you have the correct update.zip and recovery folder (with command file inside) in the root of your gtablet

  • Where did you find TnT lite 5.0 I can't find it anywhere?

  • @johntcantrell TNT Lite 5 ROMS were pulled on XDA due to some issues (mostly people not reading instructions). TNT has since been retired and replaced by 'Mountain Laurel' which you can find on Slatedroid - by the same person who developed the TNT ROMS on XDA

  • were can i get the TNT ?

  • @pensacolacomps

    Thanks, much appreciated

  • The out of the box software sucks hard why can't viewsonic just ship with TNT gawd I fucking hate stiff nose shit heads

  • That's what it was! I thought I had fixed it by setting the default browser to prefer "desktop" versions of webpages instead of the mobile version, but YouTube was still defaulting to the mobile version for some reason. I had downloaded a couple of different YouTube apps and one of them takes me to the non mobile version. There is some glitchyness with that version but the videos play now at least!
