@DaveWollenberg Written by Isac Hayes and David Porter, released through Stax Records, the back up band was Booker T. And The MG's, and yes they included Donald "Duck" Dunn and Steve Cropper. The rest is sweet soul history.

Did Steve Cropper, and 'Duck' Dunn' play on this version, too? Somebody let me know. Dave Prater was singin' out of his range. He actually was a baritone. turned into a 2nd tenor, by Isaac Hayes.
