HSE Cost Recovery Proposals could impact significantly on UK businesses which are not properly prepared for an HSE visit. The controversial proposals take effect from April 2012. A business which receives any enforcement action will be charged. Charges will range from a letter, costing approximately £750, upwards.
Simple steps are outlined in the video to enable businesses to avoid these charges. However, as with all Health and Safety activity, waiting until a visit is due, or an accident happens, isn't recommended.

Totally disgusting, no wonder shops are being replaced with giant posters. So £750 is how much Podger charges for one of his letters then is it, perhaps he is getting a bit short for his beer money for the 2012 Christmas ball (or that's how much he needs to spend on paper for the risk assessment before the 2012 Christmas ball) LOL.
