I'll say this, even if these locomotives are made in China, they look as if they are of extremely good quality. Contrary to most people's opinions, not all products from China are crap. I've bought several products made in China that are of very good quality. :)

@Ferronal3 i dont know exacly the model but they buyed 38 second hand units from Mexican-KCSM C30-7 in 2007 but the news here dont know the specific model
i belive they buyed more units from Ferromex 10 units in mid 2009 C30-7 also

Buffer cars. They do this to special moves and ethanol trains to allow space between oncoming trains, just incase something were run into the train at an excess of speed, for example, the locomotive hooking up to the train accidently coupled above the 4 MPH limit.
