One of four songs recorded by Buddy Holly at Normna petty Studios in the 1956 sessions there. This song was written by Don Guess. It has Buddy on rythm guitar and vocals, Sonny Curtis on lead guitar, Don Guess on slap-bass and J.I Allison on drums. Note the echo effect used so it would have the same sound as Elvis' Sun Records, this song was actually a cross between Good Rockin Tonight and Baby Let's Play House. Please Comment on your thoughts.

Don Guess is my great uncle. His sister Junelle is my grandmother. It is so great to see and hear so many of his songs still alive. I have 4 others that he did as a solo artist later on..thank you for posting this!

I have this song as part of the MCA Records LP (1983) "Buddy Holly For the First Time Anywhere", but since I don't have a working turntable, nice to hear this song again.

Hey. I ever loved this song, and the undubbed version is much better than the overdubbed. Great video.
But, the song was written by Buddy Holly, not Don Guess.
