I really enjoyed your video presentation. I can relate in that I was a Amtracker from 1960 to 1964. 1st and 2nd Mardiv/FMF Lant and Pac. Man can I relate to the maintenance, especially breaking track.
The LVT P5 was indeed a piece of work, not to mention going on board a LST at sea. Ya gotta be a young man to endure. 4 years of my life I cannot forget.
Where else is a 3/4 inch rachet drive used:-). 1913886/1833 ooh rah mutha fuckas

I like the pic at 3:13. It gives civilians an idea of how big these pigs are.

YAT YAS!!! Charlie Company 4th Tracs, 1969 to 1975. We started off as a Bulk Fuel unit, then switched to tracs in about 1971. We had P5's for about a year and a half before going to 7's. Swam out of Little Creek and off LST's (Harlan County?) Brings back a lot of great memories.
Semper Fi and check yer hull plugs!!!
