Armored Armadillo

Remade with FL Studio by ear with Mega Man X sounds.

This time, instead of using a Mega Man X soundfont, I ripped the MMX samples myself in hopes of acquiring sounds more faithful to the original game. This is pretty much an "accuracy test."

Also, I finally found out how to do slide and vibrato effects!

It sounds exactly like the game. Did you happen to use snessr to extract the samples from the game/SPCs?

Everything about this song is great and well done, except for that one patch of really high pitch. It grates my ears. Other than that, fantastic job.

Close. Fairly close. Sounds like an SNEmul rip, actually, instead of an SPC -> IT conversion... XD Pitches are too high, some notes don't fade too accurately, etc. etc. Still, not a bad shot at it. Try making an original tune with the ripped samples. I wager you'll have a ton more creative control that way.
