This version of the Kershaw Ripcord, model 3200SSBL, has a polished stainless steel blade. The belt clip included is keyed so that when the ripcord is removed, the blade is deployed. It works exactly opposite when storing the knife; using the belt slip the keyed slot is used to retract the blade safely into the handle. When in use you don't have to worry about it folding on you. When in storage you don't have to worry about it opening on you.

  • when drawing, do you have to pull the handle off the little sheath-peg, or is it cut so that you can simply pull straight from the sheath?

it's an awesome concept, I can just picture myself ripping the poor peg off drawing it wrong.

  • AWESOME!
