  • A wood stove catalytic converter burns additional gases contained in smoke from a wood fire, releasing cleaner stove exhaust into the atmosphere. The cleaner exhaust contains fewer toxins and minimal amounts of fly ash or soot.

The E.P.A.requires catalytic converters in certain geographic areas.

  • I was enjoying this video untill I noticed how(lol)smart your chimney sweep is.

There is no such word as irregardless!

Word to the wise, dont hire people that can't speak proper english.

  • Hey emily......I wrote to you before.

I wanted to ask you how a flue cleaner might clean my chimminy it it were 8 feet tall off the roof ? Would he take apart the flue from the inside and scrub upward from inside the house?

  • Emily, Great vid!! And you are a Hottie!! ;-)

  • We had a woodstove just like yours! A happy family of mice live in it in the greenhouse now! I've never tried to sweep our chimney. It's a bit high above the roof, eh!

  • @MANDELBROT27 Going from the top is often better because 1) you can't clean the cap from the bottom, 2) it's often impossible to get a brush through a smaller damper, and 3) brushes that are soft enough to fit through smaller dampers/flues are usually not stiff enough to remove heavy soot or creosote. There's nothing cheesy about tradition, especially traditions that work well.

  • cheesy..... why place yourself in danger and waste time by going up on the roof when you can send the brushes up from the bottom???????

  • @IXIWurstyIXI thats the samething that i think, when i´ve watched that video :)

  • @1982ridged i would like to have one of those they cost alot
