Dragon Fighters, attack!

FDNY Engine 9 and Tiller Ladder 6, better known as the Chinatown Dragon Fighters, responds to a call of a man injured on the 4th floor of a building at 143 Mulberry Street. Engine 9 and Ladder 6 were 2nd due in. The call ended up being a false alarm. Engine 9 and Ladder 6 are both Seagraves. Ladder 6 is a Tiller Ladder truck with a 100 foot ladder. @rpbravest29fd Because the back wheels can be steered against the direction of travel allowing the trailer to swing out fron the inside of the curve. They navigate tight turns MUCH better than a rearmount

@joek0617 Like I said Engine is EMS/Firefighting, that's it. Car accidents, Fires, Rope Rescue, basically any type of physical rescue, you call the Truck. And yes you are half right that the Truck has more space but you still have to be careful what you put in that space. Still it's amazing as to how much stuff FDNY can fit on their truck companies. Stuff you've never even heard of has a place on their truck, probably doesn't get used but once a year but its there none the less.
