Zane Charron opens for Tommy Emmanuel in Bavaria

I had the great fortune to be able to open for one of my guitar 'heros', Tommy Emmanuel (in of all places, a bavarian fest tent!). Since there were three, count 'em THREE, support acts that night (myself, Alex Kabasser and Pam Rose) and I'd only get 10 or 12 minutes to play, I thought I'd rip straight into my hyper version of 'All Along the Watchtower', followed by a favorite from Michael Penn, 'No Myth'. Both are played with a flatpick but are intricate enough to warrant me playing them before a Tommy crowd. I think I won a few fans that night.
