Also I saw a couple other videos of this same car, and I know its the same car because of the Area 51 lisense plate. You can tell by the sound of it, that it does not have 2500hp. It sounds like a stock Mosler.

I still say this car is vaporware, its been around since early 2009, and still no proof of its claim on stats. 2500hp is acheivable in a small block chevy. Nelson Racing Engines builds two different models, one is a race gas series 441ci sbc with 2500hp and 2000tq, the other is a LSX 454ci sbc with 2500hp and 2100tq. Not a 380ci motor!!! And I cant see how this car could weigh less than 2000lbs.

@wantedlonewolf The Langshark is and was something made up by the owner and a company called Intense Automotive Design. The customer purchased the car with an LS6 engine that had around 420 hp. He bought the car and wanted or maybe still wants it to have 2500 hp. On top of that there was talk about it weighing 551 pounds less than the original weight which is 2500 punds. The Landshark is a joke and in my opinion it will never weigh 2000 lbs with 2500hp.

Your right i have no proof but, I saw a tv program with some guy walking around jay leno's garage with him and he had him talking about this car for like 10 minutes,

And if you search jay leno's garage their is a list of cars he owns... and the "xxx land shark" is on that list.

No specs though... so you maybe right and just like you said "ill eat me words"

I love mosler not because of 2500 bhp but because they have passion. Witch no other american car company has [atm]

I mean half the fanboy sites that claim the existance of these things think the creators name is "Joseph Mosler". lol

@RocketNothing Their are actually 2 Land sharks currently made, and jay leno owns 1... not sure on the other.

Mosler is like koenigsegg, they offer the same car with diferent power outputs. You can get a spec list from mosler or koenigsegg as long as your leg for the engine alone. A top spec mt900 is called "xxx landshark" and do's have 2500bhp [as daft as it may be] The top spec koenigsegg come with 1480bhp [over 1500 on bio-eth]. Ruf offer cars with 1200bhp mate.

@wantedlonewolf While it's true that you get get an LS9 block to beyond 2500HP, a Mosler has never been fitted with one of that output, tell me what would be the point? I've spoken to people who worked for Mosler who have also verified this.  This "landshark" crap is nothing but an elaborate myth probably made up by Mosler to make people like you keep their name in the spotlight.

@thing503 Mate, hate to burst your bubble.... but. This is a 2500hp monster. 900kg, rear engine [7 litre] rwd, 51%/49% cog.... Its rediculus.

Its made by mosler and is called the land shark, they offer other models starting at 748bhp. Oh and to buy the land shark you must own a racing license... not sure of witch one but if you search for it, wiki will give you the answers.

you can buy a 2500HpLS3 twin turbo @NelsonRacingEngnes for $52,000.oo dollars not saying this dose or dose not have that much power but they do make them and they do hold that much power with a computer management system it could use that much power without spinning the tires the computer sences gear,gas pedal,speed and tire traction and gives the power needed instead of useing the breaks to do it like in german co.'s stupid crouts might need thos later for somthing else like STOPPING

All the specs are true. I should know. I was driven around in it. I met the owner, I personally know him. We're close. All the people who say that the specs are fake, YOU'RE WRONG!
