The Brawn GP is an entirely different car, since it is powered by a Mercedes engine, one of the most powerful on the grid. Plus, the Mercedes engine had a lot of usable mid-range power that the Honda engine lacked. Mid-range power is the most important in a F1 engine.
Every F1 fan already knew that the Honda F1 engine was one of the weakest on the grids. Since there was a development freeze on engines, 2009 Brawn GP would have been a mid-fielder that was held back by the crappy Honda engine.
