Mantissa - Land of The Living - 1992

Kick arse song from Mantissa (formerly Killing Time). Great live band that got heavier every time they played.

Great to see this - a wonderful band! I used to see these guys at the Espy and in Prahran (Station / Railway Hotel) all the time ... I remember one time when someone in the crowd lobbed a stubby at Nina during a show in Prahran - Adam wasn't happy!!
Seem to recall lots of whispers at the time about substance dependencies for these guys ... pity they didn't go further

Tubby was the drummer when they were still Killing Time. Syd Green is the drummer in this clip. The other guitarist was Chris Collins who took Jed Starr's place. He went on to form Starworld and played in Fester Fanatics.

I went to another show on that tour. Tumbleweed opened for Kim. He(Kim)got booed off, then Rollins came out on stage preach'n respect for the Surrealists.
I think the lead singer for Mantissa and his sister were offered jobs to work in the Whitsundays by Ray Martin.
