I was in the audience a few years ago for this show when Tori was on, she sang Taxiride and it was soooo beautiful. She had to perform twice cos her lipstick smudged all over her face! hehe

Spectacular artist, superb song, and really interesting camera work. All in all, this is a classic short -- a real collector's item.

Wow. I feel the same about her seeming off/wierd/sad somehow...why does nobody else seem to see this? She's *really* thin for one thing, the lyrics seem, I dunno, shallower, even less feminist. i'm not sure what's going on with her but it's not pleasant to watch.

Being a long time fan of Tori's...I think her performance is great as always...but the lyrics to this are not as deep as we know she can go. It's kinda got a "pop" music sound. Too mainstream for her. But I still loved it!

I... for one don't think this is a good recording. A) the cut out the bridge, probably for time constraints. I'd be pissed too. B) They have her dubbed over herself, she might not have been a fan of that.
Check out some of her other lyrics, like "Dragon" and "Body and Soul" and you'll see some of her old self back. All in all, I agree though, the lyrics for this song suck.
