@studiolabs although we always love to hear the composer's own version; however,u always feel a bit disappointed after u hear because there's always something good about not knowing what exactly the composer wanted and therefore getting different interpretations

I find Horowitz's rendition more pleasing to the ears for normal listening due to more modern recording technology, but it's a joy to hear the composer play his own work!

Les bonds, les rebonds, une elasticité de jeu que je n'ai pas souvent entendu. C'est tout simplement grandiose. Quel talent, quel rubato, et puis cette profondeur des notes. Une légende!
