Great fun qualifying - amazing speed differences although we are all the same age group. When those GT 40's go by, the whole car goes sideways! They are not much quicker in the corners though....

I'm pretty sure if you look up the definition of "race" in a dictionary it will mention the idea of competition.

Can you imagine if under 'race' in the dictionary it said "occasionally competitors slow down to enjoy the visual aspects of grass, or may even stop for an impromptu picnic"

Great video. Puzzled at caution until I saw some of the big boys go by. Loved the way confidence grew in the lap and I think I would love to have seen one more lap to see 'the pass'

Thank you for posting. I really enjoy this video, and the one you have of Pau. What a treat to see the yellow 250 LM scream by!! I didn't think the 64 250 GTO would be so fast either. Now I know. Too bad no lightweight E-type's decided to join the party:(
