I'm an avid fisherman, planning a 1-year trip through Mexico with my '88 Land Cruiser. I've travelled Mexico before on fishing excursions only to find myself standing on the shore looking at places I know would produce fish. There will be one of these boats on the roof-rack along with a small outboard. I agree not for everyone or every application, but for what I have in mind... perfect! As far as "ugly", form follows function, beauty follows form. The beauty is in the function.
