Nice condition mid-1960's Taylor windspeed anemometer. Works great! This is exactly like the one used on one of Neil Armstrong's (1969 Moon Landing) practice Lunar Lander Module Vehicles (LLRV) in 1969. (Can be seen on Youtube "Lunar Landing Research Vehicle (LLRV) takeoff and hover.)
See my Taylor Windscope video coming soon!

  • Thanks so much. Very hard to find NOS and I still have it put away in a drawer. Also I have several Wilfrid O. Whites, Danforths and Trade Wind instruments.

  • Yeah... I agree!! There was one NOS NO. 3107 Taylor Windscope wind speed in the box on eBay last week 10/2009 that sold for well over $200.00. The quality is exceptionally good compared to todays stuff. I have a Taylor on my house that is well over 40 yrs. old and still works. I like the simplicity and that it is easy to see/read.

  • Nice 3 cup

  • That one on eBay ended up at like $362 !!!

  • The cups rotate the opposite way round to any other anemometer I've seen! Nice looking though!

  • I love the old school anemometers! Very nice vid!

  • I've been looking all over the place for one of these. They should keep making them because they would still sell.
