I used to love WNYC-TV channel 31. Back in the pre-internet days of the 90s, their blocks of 'leased time programming' were just about my only access to programming from other countries. Thanks to Fujisankei Communications, I enjoyed "Furuhata Ninzaburō" (which for lack of a better term I call "Japanese Columbo") and "Yo nimo kimyo na monogatari" (which for lack of a better term I call "Japanese Twilight Zone"). Well..I DID enjoy them until FCI decided they didn't want foreigners to watch their shows and stopped subtitling them. And from Rai TV I was able to experience "Scommettiamo Che?" about a decade before ABC adapted it into the short lived "Wanna Bet?". The game show presented stunts, and a panel bet on if they believed the outcome would be sucessful. Even though I dont speak Italian, it was easy to understand since they showed little animations of the stunts as they were described. This is the only clip I have of this particular episode, but I also have full episodes featuring Brigette Neilson and Ernest Borgnine as special guests.
I wonder if that thing would have an easier time with a girl's bra hooks than I did as a teen.
