I had a friend who worked in a control tower, and he once told me he loved 747s, because depite their size, you can pretty much fit them into any hold/traffic pattern behind any other plane, they can really slow down if they want to. see the plane at 0:14? there aren't many jumbos in the world that you can put behind a guy that slow, on final.

@tysondiki no they're used to make the air move slower under the wings so it's higher pressure, creating more lift so the plane can fly at a slower speed

Landing flaps are steeper than take-off flaps. This is to make air run faster at bottom of the wings so there would be low air pressure and plane would come down
