Don't care all that much about this issue, however, note that there was no country called Kenya when he was born. It did not achieve independence till 1963.

@ROBERT195911577, Kenya was named many years before it obtained it's independance. Obama's father and his forefathers were born in Kenya. Our own nation was also known as the united states of america long before we gained our independence.

@lauralee19, Not so. Although Mitt's father, George Romney was born in Mexico, his parents were both US citizens who had moved from Utah to Mexico. Mexico did not and does not award citizenship to the children of foreigners, so his father was a US citizen at birth.
