Buckpasser winning the 1966 Jockey Club Gold Cup in yet another Spectacular performance.

Buckpasser once again shows us his amazing stamina, heart and will to win every horse race - this time at two miles. A bottomless reserve of Stamina, driven by an indomitable spirit, with a blaze of speed whenever he needed it to win. Buckpasser and Secretariat are regarded to have the most perfect conformation in the history of American American Thoroughbreds, and in horse racing history.

In his 'retirement' to breeding, Buckpasser became the premier broodmare sire. HIs progeny, although including Kentucky Derby winner Spend A Buck, were most noted in the fillies he threw: his female progeny threw racehorses, hence the "sire of broodmares" extraordinaire.
