    yes i agree its bad i made the solo seat from fibreglass i made it from plaster first then took a mold from it!!

  • That's so cool. I had one years ago. Loved it to bits. Always thought it would look cool with that big tank.

    Does it still squirm over the white line on the motorway?

  • love the bike and what you have done. have just purchased a CX500 in a million pieces, me and a mate in process of sorting, cleaning, and assembling for breakdown paint reassemble etc. It looks remarkably like yours with what the previous owner has done (paint and rear solo seat primarily, almost identical!). think it is pre 1980 as it only has the single disc/caliper setup? What method did you use for polishing the rocker covers? Cheers, Geoff Perth AUS
