World Oyama Karate 2009 Fighters Cup (bare knuckles) - Spin Kick Knockout

Full contact. Bare knuckles, bare feet. Fight ended with spin kick to head (no helmet). Ouch.

I don't understand how this kind of non-professional amature competitions are legal in California, while Chinese SanShou with full protective gears (boxing gloves, helmets, leg guards, no knees and elbows) would be illegal? Strange.

Tough Karate fighters. I would not fight with any of the guys (and girls) I saw today. All the fighters went home today with chest and legs all bruised up. I personally don't know a lot of martial artists that can take three minutes of bare fist to the chest without going down. No disrespect, but these guys are nuts. lol

I fought better aged seven, on a yellow belt. Seriously, that fat guy is terrible.

Well I guess that's the point, no gloves. To the Japanese, this is not only a sport, it is a test of manhood. One thing I pay so much respect to, was the fact that none of them lost control of their emotions. Everyone got their ego in check and have such great sportsmanship.
