Elena reads to Mom

My preschooler was feeling blue after seeing her friends at school for Class Picture Day. She wanted to stay and hang out, but VPK is done for the year. So I suggested we go home and snuggle and she could read to me. She may get some of the words wrong,... but for only being in preschool, I think she did fabulously! She's never read this book before so it's brand new and no practice effect involved. I made the mistake however of correcting a word and she was reduced to tears and we had to stop. Just like a girl!
