i think it is 16v because it has DOHC intake manifold.DOHC means double overhead camshaft and because engine is 4 cylinder these means that the engine is 16v.

@lordoftheriffs79 - Yup 8v. Only g60 with 16v(210hp & 186lb/ft) came in the very rare (only 71 made) Golf Limited.

how much power you get from this engine ? If it's Kr, stock power is 139 bhp. You should get more over 160 bhp cause.
