I saved your video to my computer and called it "The Wilesco D405 Modified Blues". Beautiful Model.

She's a beauty! Looks more like a real miniature model than a toy steam engine.

:DDD

Excellent engine, and I was pi$sed that the music was obscuring, the music, then I thought, this music is brilliant! What is it?

Hello Kevin, I have been inspired to have a go! Can you tell me more about the wheels you were going to combine?

@M15TERx
Join "The Unofficial Mamod and Other Toy Steam Forum" if you haven't already. Lots of great people and super-knowledgable about steam toys. From there I can point you to a link with more pictures on the wheels modifications. I can't post the link here. :(

@rockingkristof
Yes, you will need to de-solder the steam pipe to get it apart for painting. A little mini-torch is very handy for this. Good luck!

@kevininasia hello kevin,thanks for helping.i have another question for you: doesn't the paint come off the boiler with regular paint? becouse the boiler gets very hot.
regular paint from a spraycan?

@rockingkristof
The firebox is high-temperature black paint, you're right it gets very hot. But the water in the boiler keeps it relatively cool - you can use normal paint for that. Yes, both were from spray cans. Cheap and easy ;)
