Listen to the old Floyd is like taking a warm bath after a cold rain...
Shine on

this has long been my favorite recording of anything Floyd ever did. I had it on a cassette that I lost a while back. If anyone has any idea how I could get the whole track on mp3 I'd be truly grateful.

I would love to see the video of this....

BBC doesn't sell Pink Floyd's Studio Recordings anymore :(( Maybe a global petition would help?

Absolutely Brilliant!
I was at this concert in 1971. It was recorded in the BBC "Paris" Studio in Lower Regent Street London, It was part of a series of concerts that the BBC would broadcast on Sunday afternoons hosted by the late John Peel. Also on the set were performances of Embyo, Echoes, and One of These Days. It was recorded roughly a week before the band went off to Italy to record their Live in Ponpeii film. This whole broadcast later became available as a bootleg album titled Meddler.

UH... Sorry about removing your post - the "reply" link is too close to the "remove" link I get...
:^P
To answer your question, I traded a bootleg of the Floyd KQED video for this version of "Fat Old Sun".
I think this is my favorite song. Ever.
