Alice in Wonderland (New Music Score)

An assignment for music/film class; we recreated the score for this scene of Disney's 'Alice in Wonderland'.

We tried to make a film score that was completely different from the original, steering away from "Mickey Mousing" and moving towards something a bit more trippy and mellow. Works at some parts and lacks in others, challenging and fun assignment overall.

i think people have been a bit too harsh on you, i liked it i thought it was quite well done except the mix between the audio of the voices and the music are a bit off. i think it wouldve better received if you didnt post it as a response to Alice because people are trying to make links between the two videos and their arent many to make. but i think its quite good.

thanks. the voice was very difficult to do resulting in it being very choppy. while removing the original score, the voice got distorted because many of the pitches between the music and voice are similar.

I fell in love with the section where she fell through the rabbit hole. 1:28 is where it starts for me. I like the ethereal wonder in the music as she falls, but as it progresses, I feel like the music works against what she's saying. The general theme you had for the beginning was nice, but it did not express the whimsy of this world.

Also, people, he's emphasizing the music, not the words. That's why it's turned up.
