The Breaking Winds Bassoon Quartet performs a very unique rendition of a Lady Gaga medley, featuring: Telephone, Poker Face and Bad Romance- transcribed and arranged by Kara LaMoure.

We are based at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. Members are Eryn Bauer (L), Brittany Harrington (RC), Kara LaMoure (LC) and Lauren Yu (R). Guest performances made by: Kevin McDonald (drums) and David Weinberg (MC). A big thank you to Yuki Katayama for all of her behind the scenes work!

    Lauren from our group actually switched from flute to bassoon, and look where she is now! The fingerings are all different, but the way you use your air will be pretty similar.

    Switched from bass clarinet to bassoon immediately after i saw this. Without a question, best choice i ever made, because I'm the first bassoonists ever in my school district. Best. Choice. Ever :)

    I wish we had this when I was in school! I started on alto sax then switched to bassoon in the 7th grade and played it all through high school. BASSOON'S RULE!!
