View video highlights of Golf Digest Senior Editor Peter Finch's lesson with Andy Plummer and Mike Bennett to find out how one 10-handicapper got started with Stack & Tilt and how his ball striking distance changed in a single lesson.
having weight on the left side at the top is not a problem as long as that weight does not shift to your right side on the downswing or "reverse-pivot" ,as the pros say.
If u can manage that then u can call yourself a stacker. It's a great swing if you're a pirate with a peg leg.
Funny to read so many ignorant comments. Almost every tour player swings this way, more or less. This is nothing new, Plummer and Bennett just made us aware of it.
Stack and tilt ain't gonna fix your chicken wings, your swing is just shit mate lol. Im sure you don't get any power with your swing and stack and tilt is just going to make it weaker with your athletic prowess.
This is what my grandfather referred to as "popping the ball". We'd go to the driving range and he'd tell me these same things. Shorten the backswing, swing down, then follow the ball with your club. It made for good consistency and getting your swing back, but it wasn't a true/full swing....or maybe it is now???
body control is definitely not what this dude was born form, stack and tilt is for non-atheletic people who need that in order to pivot to control their swing without weight transfer, i.e. this homie in the video, drop your clubs and quit, people like you are the reason the general public doesn't recognize golf as a real sport
@GrimTactics All the good pros who have used it have dropped it, basically saying it is junk. Sure some other pros are using, but they are hardly the best or even close to the best in the world. So it seems you;re the moron. It isn't my fault that you're a fan of a failed method.
Congrats Peter Finch, you have been taught how to hit a 'classic' punch shot.
