  • Glenn Gould's playing represents, to me, not only the absolute mastery in the dominion of Bach's language, but also the absolute mastery of one's own artistic and interpretative language.

  • I really to listen others playing this piece, but they all sounded like a jackhammer pounding ...

  • Three people wish they had this level of dedication and talent.

  • Esta é a música mais maravilhosa que se pode ouvir!!!

  • esta es posiblemente la mas grande interpretación que este grabada un lujo de verdad para quien conoce a Gould y una lastima para quien no lo ha descubierto aun

  • @Arsenate22 I think that would be more like a staccato hell, actually

  • i think i like this version the most. completely incredible.

  • @jjp009 Glenn Gould was no purist... if anything, he was the complete opposite of a purist.

  • He doesn't take the repeats in the Aria, does he? I wonder why such a Bach purist would ignore those markings.

  • Glenn, you will forever reside in my heart.
